MEET THE TEAM

Dr. Andrea Lee Tolleson

PT, DPT, CSCS THE LAB Physiotherapy Co-Founder

Dr. Andrea Tolleson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist whose approach to physiotherapy is rooted in a simple belief: the human body is designed to move, and meaningful change requires meaningful movement. Her background spans rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, personal training, and high-level athletic performance, including experience within the NFL Combine setting. With a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and advanced training in movement science, Andrea has spent years studying not only how the body moves, but how it adapts to the demands placed upon it.

At THE LAB., Andrea brings together clinical reasoning, strength and conditioning principles, and diagnostic technology to bridge the space between rehabilitation and performance. Her philosophy is grounded in the belief that movement is medicine—but like any medicine, the right dose matters. Through progressive loading, strength development, movement variability, and intentional exposure to real-world demands, she works to help people build capacity, move with confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Dr. Luis Gustavo Cabizuca de Oliveira

PT, DPT, EP-C THE LAB Physiotherapy Co-Founder

Dr. Luis Gustavo is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Exercise Physiologist with a career shaped by sport, movement, and performance. Originally from Brazil, he came to the United States to play collegiate tennis, eventually becoming a coach and working with high-level athletic performance, including professional tennis and baseball at the MiLB and MLB levels.

His experience as an athlete, coach, and clinician has shaped the way he approaches physiotherapy: looking beyond the site of pain or injury to understand how the body moves, what is driving the problem, and what it takes to build lasting strength and resilience.

At THE LAB., he brings together clinical expertise, movement science, and firsthand experience in sport to create a more thoughtful approach to recovery and performance. Whether helping someone return from an injury, get back to the activities they enjoy, or simply move better and stay active, his goal is simple: help people build a body they can trust.
